Since 2003, Dr. Scott Haydon has been certified by the American Board of Medical Specialty as a Plastic Surgeon. He has served the Austin and Central Texas area performing cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgeries as well as several other facets of cosmetic surgery and body contouring- including mommy makeovers, liposuction, abdominoplasty, rhinoplasty and facial rejuvenation. He holds memberships in numerous organizations, including the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and the prestigious American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He was recognized in 2013, 2014 and 2015 as one of the “Top 100 Surgeons” on RealSelf.com, a highly-utilized review site regarding plastic surgeons across America. Through his medical journey he has had his wife Leslie by his side. He has three lovely children, Parker, Hayes and Ella. The older two are graduates of Westlake High School and currently attend the University of Texas. His youngest is now at Westlake as well. Dr. Haydon is an avid sports fan. In his free time, he can be found playing golf, grilling and entertaining family and friends.

As a medical student, I started doing wound healing and research at the Shriners Hospital. This led to an exposure to not only burn reconstruction but also craniofacial surgery like cleft lip and palate repair. My introduction to aesthetic surgery was in Dallas during my fellowship at UT Southwestern. I became enamored with the creativity and artistic component to cosmetic procedures. The quest to perform perfect surgery is my daily challenge.

Combination procedures such as tummy tuck with liposuction coupled with breast augmentation with a lift are becoming the norm. Since anesthesia is so much safer now, we are able to do these longer cases and improve multiple areas. This results in a much more balanced and harmonious result. Our facial and vaginal rejuvenation laser therapy provide remarkable results with minimal downtime. The O-shot and implementation of PRP (platelet rich plasma) has definitely been worthwhile to our patients.

Preparation for any surgery starts at the initial consultation. It is important to listen to the patient and get an idea of what they are wanting to achieve. Managing expectations is something that must be done early. I want to feel like at the end of every surgery that their final result will be the one they wanted.
